Please explain the 3 types of calendars in projects

I am aware that there are 3 (not 1) types of calendar in any project: the Project calendar, the Resource Calendar, and the Task Calendar. What are they exactly? And should project schedules have all 3 types of calendars in order to be considered "good".

Please also provide the difference between the 3 types of calendars.
