How to check for PRINCE2 certification?

One of our applicants to our project management job is claiming to have a PRINCE2 practitioner certification and I want to be sure that he's telling the truth. How can I check that he actually possesses this certification? Is there a way to check online?

PRINCE2 runs a successful candidate register to see if someone has indeed a PRINCE2 certification, you can check it here: http://www.apmg-international.com/examquery.asp . You can search by first name and last name, candidate number, month, year, etc...

It seems unlike the PMP registry, you need to know the exact name of a candidate (often a disadvantage in checking).  The PMI registry can be searched by as little as one letter of a name (enter "A" in the last name field to obtain a list of registrants with last names beginning with "A").
