I have just finished my PMP exam and I passed, and I was "moderately proficient" in all knowledge areas. What does that mean? Does that mean they think I'm good, but not very good?

"Moderately proficient" means average, what comes below it is "Below proficient", which means you have failed in that specific knowledge area. Note that failing in a knowledge area does not necessarily mean that you have failed the exam.

since you are "moderately proficient" in all knowledge areas means that your project management skill, according to PMI, are average.
