Best way to get project management certification

What is the best (and easiest) way to get a project management certification? Is it by studying hard for a couple of months and then applying for it? Is it by taking some training in PM? Is it by taking a project management course? Is it by attending a seminar or a webinar on PM?

I'm not looking for the cheapest way, I'm looking for the best way (which will guarantee that I will pass any PM certification exam, including the PMP).

The best way is to first solidly meet the experience requirements (yes, there are requirements you need to take the exam and they can be found at http://www.pmi.org/en/Certification/~/media/PDF/Certifications/pdc_pmphandbook.ashx).  Next, get yourself a good PMP exam review book - there are many things you may not learn on the job.  For example, the scheduling methods I had used weren't very rigorous and I needed to understand how to calculate dates in a schedule network.  I went through the book and used the practice quizes and tests to determine my weaknesses and figure out what gaps I needed to fill.  After I was able to score an 80%+ on all practice tests, I applied for the exam, took it, and passed.
